Hub account migration now moves an account between nodes together with its files, mail and databases, when the account owner allows it. You can install a purchased certificate for the panel hostname. The admin REST API can set up web servers and PHP versions from start to finish. The Backups hub warns when scheduled backups fall behind. The release also fixes certificate renewal and certificates after a restore, keeps mailing list subscribers per account and opens the Migration page straight on the cPanel and DirectAdmin import.
Multi-server management
- Hub account migration with data (AB-1120): Moving an account from one node to another copies its website files, email and databases along with its configuration. Website files, Email and Databases are all ticked by default in the migrate dialog. The account owner can turn off the copying of their data in the client panel. A migration that copies data is then refused. The migration shows its progress. With Suspend the account on this server afterwards ticked, the source account is suspended and the changes made during the first copy are copied as well. A migration that fails leaves the copy on the target for a retry. A migration whose DNS switch or source suspension did not finish shows as completed with warnings.
SSL certificates
- Purchased hostname certificate (AB-1479): General Settings installs a certificate you bought for the panel hostname. You paste the certificate, the key and the chain. A certificate the panel cannot use is refused before anything changes. The certificate then covers the panel, mail, FTP and the web server. The page shows the source, issuer, expiry and coverage of the certificate in use. The automatic hostname renewal leaves a purchased certificate in place. The panel warns 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before it expires and again once it has expired. Switching back to automatic SSL orders a new certificate first. If that order fails, the purchased certificate stays.
- Legacy certificate renewal (AB-1535): Older Let's Encrypt and ZeroSSL certificates renew on the usual schedule.
bolt-cli run-auto-ssl --list-unmanaged lists every domain AutoSSL does not renew, with the reason. Uploaded certificates are stored with automatic renewal off.
- Certificates after a restore (AB-1712): After a restore, the panel issues a new automatic certificate when the restored one can no longer be used. This covers in-place, whole account and JetBackup restores. A certificate the customer uploaded stays as it is. For an account with AutoSSL switched off, the Issuance history says that the restored certificate needs to be replaced.
REST API
- Web server and PHP API (AB-1758): The admin REST API gains
/api/admin/web-server. It reports the configured web server, the one serving ports 80 and 443 and whether the two differ. It installs and removes Apache, LiteSpeed Enterprise, OpenLiteSpeed, Phusion Passenger and the LSAPI Engine. It re-configures Apache and LiteSpeed and follows each job with its log. /api/admin/php-versions lists, installs and removes PHP versions. It shows what uses a version. It reads and changes a version's php.ini directives, extensions and PHP-FPM settings. The API refuses the same actions the panel pages refuse, with the reason. A server can be set up end to end over the API.
Backups
- Backup lag warning (AB-1794): The Backups hub warns when scheduled backups fall behind. It shows how many accounts are behind and waiting, how long the oldest one has been due and how many backup slots are in use. It also says what to do next to catch up.
- Backup scheduling (AB-1792, AB-1793):
bolt-cli set-ini-settings BOLT_BACKUP_CONCURRENCY <n> sets how many backups run at once. Backup now on the Backups hub says why a backup did not start.
Mail and databases
- Mailing list subscribers (AB-1734): Subscribers belong to the account of the list they subscribe to. Each customer sees only their own subscriptions. Unsubscribe and moderator changes act on the right list. A list's archive is deleted together with the list. Deleting a hosting account removes its mailing lists, archives and subscribers completely. The
/api/mailing-lists endpoints act only on the lists of the API key's own account.
- Database user actions (AB-1770): On the client Databases page, Edit Privileges and Detach from Database each open their own dialog on the first click. A click on Edit Privileges never detaches the user. The row actions look disabled while a request runs. Saving privileges confirms with Database user privileges updated successfully.
- Adminer access (AB-1811): Adminer opens for signed-in administrators. Signed-in customers with an active account can open it for their PostgreSQL databases. The panel's own databases open for administrators only. The admin database shortcuts sign in to Adminer directly.
- Email Filters page removed (AB-1236): The unused client Email Filters page is gone. Mail filters are managed in Roundcube.
Panel pages
- Migration page (AB-1816): Migration opens Migrate from cPanel or DirectAdmin directly. The page has a short How a migration works section and a Start a migration button. The old export and import pages are removed and their addresses lead to the migration page. Hub migration, the REST API,
bolt-cli and JetBackup keep exporting and importing accounts as before.
- Notification bell for every administrator (AB-1525): SSL, LVE fault, reseller limit and stuck worker alerts reach the notification bell of every administrator. An SSL alert opens the page of its certificate, or the SSL Certificates list when it covers several. The certificate page shows its domain, owner, type and expiry.
- Plan limit messages (AB-1772): Limit messages shown to customers say "your hosting plan" instead of the plan's internal name. On the client dashboard, the Disk Usage banner and the files and databases banner never show together. Both are judged on exact sizes.
- Disk Usage locations (AB-1139): On the client Disk Usage page, a folder opens in the File Manager in a new tab. Other files in the home directory opens the home directory. The Databases row opens the Databases page. Folder names are shown as plain text.
Fixes and smaller changes
- Faster statistics refresh (AB-1790): Account statistics refresh faster. An account deleted during the refresh is skipped.
- Admin dashboard cards (AB-1771, AB-1797): The Updates card stays within its height and its buttons stay clear of Quick Actions. Top Accounts shows each account's name and full row at every card width.
- Smaller fixes (AB-1695, AB-1234, AB-1684, AB-1822, AB-1793): A row on the Executions tab of Logs opens the details of that execution. A finished Phusion Passenger install opens its page in Modules. Domain Security, the Ticketing pages and Secondary DNS Servers use the full Settings width. The SSH Terminal menu item shows only for accounts with SSH access.
